This peak is #73 in Prominence List for British Columbia . Tatlow is a remarkably beautiful 10,000 footer that stands as a widely visible sentinel point for the whole Chilcotin plateau. Drive 90 km west of Williams Lake on Highway 20 to Lee's Corners. Turn southwest on good gravel road 100 km to Konni Lake (Nemiah Valley). The peak is easily reached from west of the lake.
NOTE: Tatlow holds a culturally important position for the native population of the Nemaia valley. They request that NO climbing take place on Tsylos and its neighbouring peaks. BC Parks imposes the same restriction in its parks plan.
Name Notes: Adopted in 1911.
