| Golden Horn mountain is just south of Whitehorse, Yukon. It looks very much like an extinct volcano from the north. This is apparently not the result of volcanic activity, and from other directions the shape is much less volcano like. There is a road that goes behind Mount Sima that goes up onto the plateau that would provide access to the summit. | | Trip Reports | Subject Photos View Thumbnails 6 Golden Horn Mountain from Whitehorse Dan Richardson | Readers of this Page| 2009.07 | 2009.08 | 2009.09 | 2009.10 | 2009.11 | 2009.12 | 2010.01 | 2010.02 | 2010.03 | 2010.04 | 2010.05 | 2010.06 | 2010.07 | 2010.08 | 2010.09 | Total | | 15 | 19 | 14 | 17 | 13 | 10 | 10 | 12 | 16 | 8 | 39 | 18 | 12 | 19 | 2 | 224 |
