This peak is #14 on the Height List for Colorado . This peak is #22 in Prominence List for Colorado . Longs Peak is the highest mountain in Rocky Mountain National Park and the farthest north 14,000 foot peak in the Rocky Mountain chain of peaks. There are literally hundreds of climbing routes on the peak ranging from the tourist scrambling route, the Keyhole, to the 1,000 feet of vertical granite of the east face called the Diamond.
