Caption: The northeast aspect of Mount Burstall.

Story: There is a scrambling route that starts in the valley at the right, which is accessed using the Burstall Pass trail. It comes up a wide north facing scree gully that is not visible in the picture. The gully goes up the north slopes between the first high point (where the dark rock patches/cliffs are directly below summit) and the northeast slopes proper. From there it goes straight up to the ridge above, then left to the summit. The point from the ridge to the summit is the more difficult part of the scramble. Mount Sir Douglas looms in the clouds in the distance to the left of Burstall. The portion of mountain visible at the left edge of the picture is Mount Robertson.
