Story: The Y couloir is mostly melted out in this mid-September shot. From some viewpoints the rock on this peak looks bad and on others it looks good. Undoubtedly the rock buttresses on this face could be climbed at a 4th class type of difficulty level to investigate the matter further. I had planned to climb one myself the day after taking this shot, but the hike up Sun God was so easy I got back to the car by early in the afternoon - and decided to go visit friends in Squamish instead of bivying at the road end.
